Africa’s GDP is projected to grow by 3.8% in 2025 and 4.1% in 2026, according to UNECA at the 57th Conference of African Ministers of Finance in Addis Ababa. Despite resilience, growth remains insufficient for social progress. Intra-African trade is expanding but contributes less to GDP. Climate change also threatens economic gains.
