Wood exports are up 34% in volume from 2020, to 302,229 m3, and 18% in value, generating €136.75 million, according to the Statistics and Research Unit of Ghana’s Timber Industry Development Division (TIDD), quoted by Commodafrica. That said, these figures are still below their levels in 2019, before Covid, stresses the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).
