Ghana : visa-free access expands to five countries

On July 26, 2025, Ghana’s Parliament unanimously ratified visa-waiver agreements with São Tomé & Príncipe, Colombia, Dominica, and Mozambique, announced Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. These new partnerships follow the June 2025 visa-free deal with Morocco, bringing the total to five visa-exempt destinations for Ghanaian passport holders.
Accra aims to elevate the Ghanaian passport to one of the most respected globally while investing in enhanced security protocols to guard against document fraud.
