Ghana Unilever doubles its profits
The Ghana subsidiary of multinational Unilever, one of the world leaders in consumer products, announced revenue up 10% in 2018, with 632.64 million cedis (€ 111 million) against 575.76 million (€ 101 million) the previous year.
Its operating profits jumped to 142.77 million (€ 25 million) against 67.20 million (€ 11.8 million) and its profits have been doubled to 109.09 million (€ 19.1 million) against 48, 15 million (€ 8.4 million) in 2017.
In January, the group inaugurated three new factories in Tema, for a total investment of 60 million cedis (€ 10.5 million).
