Ghana : tree crops could generate USD 12 Bn annually by 2030

Ghana expects to earn at least USD 12 billion a year by 2030 from six key tree crops — cashew, coconut, oil palm, rubber, mango and shea — according to the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA). CEO Andy Osei Okrah said the strategy focuses on expanding acreage, boosting yields and strengthening value chains to diversify exports beyond cocoa.
