Ghana : launch on March 12, 2026 of iCOLMS‑GH digital platform to regulate courier and delivery services

Ghana’s Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations launched iCOLMS‑GH (Integrated Courier and Logistics Management System – Ghana) on March 12, 2026, a fully digital platform to regulate courier, logistics and delivery services. It enables online registration, licensing, renewal and compliance verification. The e‑commerce market in Ghana is projected to reach $2.64 billion by 2030according to Statista. The system integrates with national digital infrastructure such as Ghana.GOV and the National Identification Authority to improve transparency and traceability, and allows consumers to check the regulatory status of service providers. Operators must register by March 31, 2026, ahead of enforcement starting April 1, 2026 by the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commissionand Ghana Police Service, said Minister Samuel Nartey George.
