Ghana: Launch of Bridge Power, a 515 MW Modern Plant in Kpone for $1.2 Billion

Ghana announces the Bridge Power project, a 515 MW modern power plant in Kpone, costing $1.2 billion. Powered by GE Vernova turbines, it promises flexibility, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. It will be the world’s first use of trailer-mounted gas turbines in a combined cycle. The electricity produced will be sold to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) under a 25-year contract.
