Ghana : cryptocurrency regulation expected by September 2025

On April 26, 2025, in Washington D.C., Bank of Ghana Governor Johnson Asiama announced that the institution will start regulating cryptocurrencies and associated platforms by late September 2025, pending adoption of the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act.
