Ghana : Canada signs first air transport agreement to boost direct flights

Canada has signed its first-ever air transport agreement with Ghana, allowing direct flights between the two nations. The agreement permits airlines from both countries to operate 14 passenger flights and 10 cargo flights per week, connecting any airports in Canada and Ghana. This marks a significant step in enhancing travel and business ties. Anita Anand, Canada’s Minister of Transport and Trade, emphasized that the deal will improve cultural and commercial connections.
