On 25 November 2024, President Wavel Ramkalawan and the First Lady of Seychelles met Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo in Accra. Talks focused on the blue economy, youth development, and culture. Two agreements were signed to boost cooperation in tourism and cultural sectors, with Ambassador Conrad Mederic and Minister Andrew Egyapa Mercer present, strengthening historic ties between the two countries.
