From October 6–8, 2025, the University of Ghana’s ISSER will host the maiden Ghana Space Conference (GSC). Under the theme “Harnessing Space Technology for Sustainable Development and Inclusive Growth,” the event is expected to gather 300+ participants, including policymakers, agencies, researchers, startups, and media. Backed by GSSTI, GMet, EPA, and Spacehubs Africa, the conference will highlight national milestones like GhanaSat-1 and the Kuntunse radio telescope, positioning Ghana at the heart of Africa’s $22.6 billion space economy projected for 2026.
