Gambia: A new member of the African Export Development Fund

The Gambia has joined the African Export Development Fund (FEDA), the investment arm of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), as its 19th member. This membership marks an important step for the country’s economic growth and industrialization. FEDA is already exploring opportunities to support the country’s five-year development plan, « YIRIWAA, » aimed at boosting the Gambian economy by 2027, while continuing its investments in key sectors such as financial services.
