According to Financial Afrik, Central Africa’s steel leader, Prometal Group, will invest 150 billion FCFA ($235 million) over five years in the Nkok Special Industrial Zone. Formalized by an agreement signed on February 18, 2025, in Libreville, this investment aims to strengthen local steel production and create 1,000 direct and indirect jobs.
