Gabon : Owendo Port to Benefit from a 1.5 MW Solar Installation Funded by British International Investment

The Owendo Mineral Port, located 21 km from Libreville, will be equipped with a 1.5 MW solar installation funded by the British International Investment. This $2.6 million project, supported by BII, aims to reduce CO2 emissions by over 1,700 tons annually while optimizing the port’s operational costs. Solar panels will be installed on the roofs of six workshops within the port facility.
