Gabon Parliament definitively approves draft revision of the Constitution
Gabonese deputies and senators, meeting in congress, definitively adopted the draft revision of the Constitution in the Gabonese Republic. Out of 229 Voters, 204 parliamentarians voted for (89.10%) and 25 against (10.9%). The text, adopted on the 18th in the Council of Ministers, covers 26 articles of the Constitution. It aims, among other things, to fill the legal void linked to certain major events which have impacted the regular functioning of institutions and public authorities.
