Gabon : China to invest FCFA 5 billion in an agricultural training center

Gabon and China have just signed a partnership agreement for the construction of a high-level agricultural vocational training center in the commune of Kango, 93 kilometers from Libreville.

Financed by China to the tune of 5 billion FCFA (8.3 million US dollars USD), the project will be built on a 40-hectare site. It will accommodate up to 400 learners, who will be able to enhance their local skills with a view to boosting agricultural production and making a lasting contribution to the country’s food sovereignty.
