Francophonie: launch of the new edition of « La langue française dans le monde 2022 »
On the occasion of the International Day of the Francophonie, March 20, the IOF launches « La langue française dans le monde 2022 ».
Prefaced by Souleymane Bachir Diagne, philosopher, professor at Columbia University in New York and Director of the Institute of African Studies, the main objective of the new edition of this book, produced by the Observatory of the French Language of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), is to provide specialists and the general public with reliable data on the situation of the French language in several areas.
