The President of the Republic will meet with the President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, this Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Elysee Palace, according to a press release from the Elysee Palace.
After the visit to Zambia of the Secretary of State for Development, this meeting is part of the strengthening of the bilateral relationship between France and Zambia.
The discussion will address the ongoing efforts to bring Zambia’s debt to a successful conclusion. The two Presidents will also discuss preparations for the Summit on the New Global Financial Compact.
