Fintech: Launch of GIMpay, a catalyst for financial inclusion in West Africa

At the 8th Regional Payment Salon in Dakar, GIMpay, a new mobile payment solution, was officially launched on November 27, 2024. Developed by GIM-UEMOA with the support of the BCEAO, GIMpay aims to promote financial inclusion in West Africa by offering a centralized platform for payments, secure transfers, and access to various financial services. With more than 75 contributors already integrated, the platform simplifies payments and enriches the region’s digital economy.
