Fintech : Attijariwafa Ventures invests US$8 M in Affinity Africa

On July 24, 2025, Attijariwafa Ventures, the investment arm of Attijariwafa Bank, took a stake in Affinity Africa, a digital bank licensed by the Bank of Ghana. The investment is part of an US$8 million seed round co-led by Grazia Equity and Backed VC. Affinity has already onboarded over 100,000 accounts, with deposit growth at 30% monthly. Notably, 65% of customers were previously unbanked and 60% are women.
