Fintech : Attijariwafa Ventures invests $1.5 million in Konnect Networks

On April 10, 2025, Attijariwafa Ventures, a venture capital fund backed by Attijariwafa Bank and Wafa Assurance, participated in a $1.5 million funding round for Konnect Networks, a Tunisian fintech specializing in digital payment solutions. The investment, supported by major investors like Utopia Capital Management and Visa, aims to boost Konnect’s expansion in North Africa. Founded in 2021, Konnect has shown a monthly growth rate of 20% and holds 4% of the local e-commerce market.
