On June 28 in Abuja, the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), in partnership with deeptech firm Interstellar, unveiled the PAPSS African Currency Marketplace (PACM). The platform allows direct exchange of African currencies without using hard currencies — a major step toward financial sovereignty and seamless intra-African trade.
