In order to give a greater impact on the promotion of innovation at all levels, the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office (EIPO) intends to improve the protection of the patent rights of innovators. Confirmation from Tigist Bogale, Director of Patent Protection and Related Rights at EIPO, at a recent outreach event in Adama City, criticizing continued loopholes in granting patent rights over the sheer numbers growing number of creative and innovative works in the country.
