Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed inaugurated the 254 megawatt (MW) Genale Dawa III hydroelectric dam project built in China.
The hydroelectric dam project built by China Gezhouba Group Corporation cost about US$451 million, with most of the money needed to finance the project coming from loans from China Export-Import Bank.
