Ethiopia generated $2.6 billion in export revenue during the first five months of FY 2024/25, exceeding the $1.8 billion target. With 612,499 tons exported, the country achieved 138.93% of planned revenue. Agriculture (50.42%), mining (39.70%), and coffee ($797.4 million) were key contributors, supported by the significant devaluation of the Birr following its floatation.
