Ethiopia: Launch of a $3.28 Million project to develop vaccine production

Ethiopia has launched a $3.28 million project aimed at developing sustainable vaccine research and production capabilities. Led by UNOPS in collaboration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, this project aims to reduce the country’s reliance on imported vaccines and strengthen its public health resilience. It includes targeted training programs and experience-sharing initiatives with global vaccine manufacturing leaders to ensure effective local production.
