On December 2, 2025, the Ethiopian Council of Ministers unanimously approved the “Ethiopia Digital 2030” strategy to strengthen infrastructure, governance, and economic development. The session also endorsed two IDA loans: 294.9 M SDR for sustainable energy and 20 M SDR for skills transformation and regional integration. Bilateral security agreements and new regulations on electronic signatures and immigration were adopted.
