Ethiopia : ADF Sign $84.3 mln grant agreement to Improve wheat productivity
The Ethiopian Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the African Development Fund (ADF) signed a grant agreement amounting to a total of 84.3 million US dollars (approximately 4.5 billion ETB) of which 54 million USD from the African Development fund, 20 million USD from the government of Netherlands, 10 million USD from OCP Africa and 0.3 million USD from global center for adaptation (GCA), respectively.
The Ministry stated that the project aims to improve wheat productivity and production thereby increasing the incomes of small-scale wheat farmers in Ethiopia.
