Ethiopia unveils a $7.8 billion airport hub project in Bishoftu aimed at easing congestion at Bole International Airport and establishing Ethiopia as a key aviation hub in Africa. Supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the airport will handle 60 million passengers by 2040, generating thousands of jobs. This initiative will boost Ethiopia’s economy, tourism, and trade sectors.
