Ethiopia is preparing the sixth phase of the Productive Safety Net Programme (PSNP) with a proposed funding of $500M. Covering around 8 million rural residents in six regions, the programme provides cash and food transfers and supports public works projects such as terracing, irrigation, and reforestation, stabilizing livelihoods amid droughts and seasonal food shortages.
