Environment : Togo launches $6.6M air quality monitoring project in 11 cities
On May 2, 2025, Togo officially launched its Air Quality Project (PQAT), backed by $6.6 million over five years. Led by the National Environmental Management Agency (ANGE), and supported by AfDB, WHO, and CCAC, the initiative will install monitoring stations in 11 cities to inform public policy and protect citizens’ health.
