Energy : Onshore investments to reach $22 billion by 2026 (AEC)

According to the African Energy Chamber, Africa’s onshore oil and gas spending will hit $22 billion by 2026. Algeria, Libya and Nigeria lead production, while Angola, Namibia and Zimbabwe expand exploration. AEC Executive Chair NJ Ayuk notes that the rise of local players will sustain production and create jobs across the continent.
