On May 24, 2025, EDF Renewables received $10 million in funding from Mirova (Natixis IM) to expand its off-grid platform « EDF Energy For All » in sub-Saharan Africa. The goal: increase access to solar-powered electricity for 5 million people by 2030 through local subsidiaries such as Greeno, UpOwa, and Bboxx EDF in Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Togo, and South Africa.
