While Morocco posted a decline in foreign direct investment (FDI) of 47% in 2019, Egypt recorded growth of 5% in Egypt. The performances of these countries which attract the most FDI in North Africa directly impact the region which recorded in 2019 a drop of 11% to $ 14 bn (€ 12.72 bn).
