On May 5, 2025, during a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Ministry of Health. The $10 million agreement aims to boost cooperation in public health, telemedicine, virtual pharmacy, and digital health. It also includes expert exchanges and joint conferences.
