Egypt : Money Fellows surpasses $1.5 billion in transactions

On October 21, 2025, Egyptian fintech Money Fellows exceeded $1.5 billion in total transactions, reaching over 8 million users. Operating under the Central Bank of Egypt’s FinTech Regulatory Sandbox, the company digitizes traditional rotating savings associations (“gameya”). With more than 2 million savings circles completed and 50,000 prepaid cards issued with Banque Misr, Money Fellows has achieved profitability while promoting financial inclusion and access to formal banking services.
