Egypt : Grand Cairo Museum officially inaugurated

The Grand Cairo Museum was officially inaugurated on November 1, 2025, by President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi. Located on the Giza Plateau, near the pyramids, the museum is dedicated to Pharaonic civilization. Construction began in 2002, lasted twenty years, and was partially funded by Japan, with a total cost of over $1 billion. The museum represents a major cultural and tourism milestone for Egypt.
