The General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) announced in a press release published on Tuesday, July 18, the signing of an agreement with the Chinese ready-to-wear manufacturer Shanghai Shengda for the establishment of a factory in Egypt, for a total investment of 40 million dollars. The plant will generate 1,200 direct jobs. Its production should be entirely exported to the United States.
