The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a $170 million loan to finance the Suez Wind Project, Egypt’s largest wind energy initiative (1.1 GW). With a total cost of $1.1 billion, the project has been awarded a Golden License, expediting its implementation. It will contribute to increasing renewable energy production, reducing CO₂ emissions, and boosting local economic growth.
