Egypt unveiled an ambitious plan to ensure electricity supply for summer 2025. During the inauguration of the Abydos 1 Solar Power Plant in Aswan, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced projects to generate 4,000 megawatts of renewable energy in collaboration with the private sector. The $4 billion plan also includes a 500 MW wind farm in the Gulf of Suez.
