Egypt : a $100 million partnership to strengthen its role as a tech hub

Egypt is solidifying its position as a technology hub in Africa and the Middle East with a $100 million strategic agreement signed in 2025 with Konecta, a Spanish company specializing in digital solutions and business process outsourcing (BPO). This partnership aims to establish a regional headquarters in Egypt, further accelerating the country’s technological development.
Through this initiative, Konecta will set up a regional center serving as a key operational hub for Africa and the Middle East. The goal is to provide advanced services, including customer relationship management, data analytics, and innovative digital solutions. By leveraging Egypt’s growing digital infrastructure, the project is expected to create thousands of jobs in the ICT sector and attract further international investment.
