Egypt: 4 Million acres of desert land to be reclaimed and cultivated
Egypt is committed to reclaiming and cultivating nearly 4 million acres of desert land. The Ministry of Agriculture is conducting studies to explore these lands, classify soils, and identify areas suitable for agriculture. The project aims to improve food self-sufficiency, create agricultural communities, and provide investment and employment opportunities. Over 2 million acres have already been cultivated, with major projects underway in the Delta, Sinai, and Aswan.
