Egypt : $121 million oil and gas investment deals signed

On September 14, 2025, Egypt signed three investment agreements worth more than USD 121 million for oil and gas exploration, according to the Petroleum Ministry. The projects cover the Western Desert, the Gulf of Suez, and North Sinai. The contracts were awarded to Parenco Egypt (USD 46 million), a subsidiary of Egypt Kuwait Holding, Dubai-based Dragon Oil (USD 40.5 million), and US firm Apache (USD 35 million), including commitments to drill three wells.
