Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery of a rock shelter at Jabal Umm Arak, South Sinai, dating back up to 10,000 years. Stretching over 100 m, it features rock art, hunting scenes, riders, early Arabic inscriptions, and remains spanning prehistoric, Roman and Islamic eras.
