Shameel Joosub, CEO of Vodacom Group, stated: « With over 210 million customers across Africa, we have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of the continent, particularly by developing a digital society and promoting inclusivity for all. » Jérôme Hénique, CEO of Orange Africa and the Middle East, added: « Our collaboration with Vodacom through the sharing of passive and active infrastructure is the best approach to accelerate access to connectivity for all, including in rural areas. »
This partnership supports the goals of the DRC’s National Digital Plan Horizon 2025, aiming for inclusive economic growth and reducing the digital divide.
