DRC : a future engine for Central Africa’s trade boom (US$31.8bn by 2028)

Central Africa is set for the highest intra-African trade growth (+12% annually), reaching US$31.8bn by 2028 from US$19.4bn in 2024, says Afreximbank. With 6,439 products registered under AfCFTA, DRC could lead—if key reforms in logistics and industry are realized.
