DR Congo : Launch of a Parliamentary Academy to strengthen lawmakers’ skills

On October 21, 2025, in Kinshasa, the Congolese government announced the creation of a Parliamentary Academy dedicated to training and research for national lawmakers. Established by an interministerial decree, the institution aims to professionalize legislative work and promote good governance. The first class will be named after President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, honoring his vision to strengthen democratic institutions.
