DR Congo: AfDB commits $80M for national census

AfDB pledges $80 million for DR Congo’s first census in over 40 years, aiming to improve fiscal planning, public investment, and economic governance.


The African Development Bank pledges $80 million for the first national census in the DRC since 1984, covering over 112 million inhabitants. The census will modernize statistics, strengthen fiscal planning, optimize public investments, and reinforce economic governance.
