According to a study commissioned by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Malagasy diaspora is the largest sub-Saharan African community in France. The number of people from this diaspora is estimated to be 140,000 individuals. Its economic weight in France is considerable. According to this study, nearly 20% of them are senior executives in many frenchies companies.
