Côte d’Ivoire has injected more than $20 million in equity into Africa Energy Investment Corporation, marking the first tranche of its financial commitment to capitalizing the Africa Energy Bank. The contribution strengthens African-led funding for large-scale energy projects, supports the energy transition, and aims to expand reliable energy access across the continent.
